Reinstatement Information

Domestic Entities:

To reinstate your domestic limited liability company, non-profit corporation, or for-profit corporation, file an application for reinstatement online using Fast Track Filing. The reinstatement process will guide you through other documents necessary for reinstating.

Once submitted, under Iowa law, reinstatement applications must first go to Iowa WorkForce Development so that agency can check for any issues with the entity attempting to reinstate. Any issues during this stage of the process must be resolved by the applicant with IWD. Upon approval by IWD, the applications return to our office to for final review.

Foreign Entities:

To re-qualify a foreign entity recently revoked, file your "Certificate of Authority" online using Fast Track Filing.

Re-qualifying online generally can be completed same business day.
