Voting on Election Day

Polling Place Hours and Locations

The polls will be open statewide from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.

To find your polling place, please visit Find Your Precinct/Polling Place.

Straight Party Voting

Straight party voting is an option on the general election ballot. If you wish to vote for all candidates from a single political party or organization, mark the voting target next to the party or organization name. Not all parties and organizations have nominated candidates for all offices. Marking a straight party or organization will not cast a vote for nonpartisan offices, judges, or public measures.

If you mark a straight party vote and want to vote for a candidate from another party, fill in the oval next to the candidate’s name that you wish to vote for. Your straight party vote will not count for that office. In offices where you can vote for more than one person, you may override your straight party vote by filling in the oval next to the names of the candidates you choose.
