Voter Pre-Registration Deadline
NEW: The voter pre-registration deadline is Friday, May 23, at 5 p.m.
The governor signed HF 2366 on April 25, 2014, changing the pre-registration deadline from 11 days before election day to 10 days before election day for primary elections.

Absentee Voting
Requesting an Absentee Ballot
The deadline to request an absentee ballot by mail is Friday, May 30, at 5 p.m. Absentee ballots received in the county auditor's office by 9 p.m. on Tuesday, June 3, are eligible for counting. Absentee ballots returned by mail and received after 9 p.m. on Tuesday, June 3, must be postmarked by Monday, June 2, or earlier and received in the county auditor’s office no later than noon on Monday, June 9.
The last day to vote an absentee ballot in person at the county auditor's office is Monday, June 2.

Voting on Election Day
Polling Place Hours and Locations
The polls will be open statewide from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Closed Primary
Voters must be registered voters of either the Democratic or Republican Party to participate in the primary election. Voters can change their party affiliation anytime before election day or at their polling place on election day.
