Voter Registration

You can register to vote by:

1. Completing a voter registration form. Return the completed form to your county auditor.


2. Completing a federal postcard application.



Return your completed FPCA to your county auditor in the county where you claim Iowa residence or uocava@sos.state.ia.us.

The FPCA serves as both a voter registration form and absentee ballot request form. Unless you ask for all elections or indicate specific elections, the absentee ballot request will be honored for only the federal election(s) held during the calendar year in which you submitted your FPCA.
