Des Moines – Iowa Secretary of State Matt Schultz announced that a guilty plea was entered in a Dallas County voter fraud case. The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) referred the case to Dallas County Attorney Wayne Reisetter who filed the election misconduct charges.

"Voter fraud is a serious crime and Iowa voters expect the integrity of elections to be held to the highest standard," Schultz said. "DCI diligently worked on this voter fraud case and I appreciate County Attorney Reisetter bringing charges in this case so Iowa voters can be sure the integrity of future elections is not in doubt."
