Credit Card Privacy Policy

Credit card information required for placing an online order by credit card is never stored on the Iowa Secretary of State computer systems, except for the last four digits of the card number. Credit card payments are processed by an authorized third party agent.

 

Refund Policy

Filing Policy

Credit card payments for online orders are processed upon payment attempt. In the case of credit card payment approval, most documents, including Notary Renewals and Biennial Reports, are filed immediately.
