ADVISORY: Press Conference this Thursday with Secretary of State Pate, IDP and RPI Chairs to Announce Bipartisan, Statewide Youth Initiative


WHAT: Iowa Secretary of State Paul Pate will be joined by Iowa Democratic Party Chair Dr. Andy McGuire and Republican Party of Iowa Chairman Jeff Kaufmann for a media conference to discuss a bipartisan, statewide, youth initiative related to the Iowa Caucus.

WHEN: Thursday, November 5, at 2 pm.

WHERE: The State Historical Museum of Iowa, inside the 'First in the Nation' exhibit. The address is 600 E. Locust Street in Des Moines.

Secretary of State Paul Pate's Office has been working with the Polk County Democratic Party, the Republican Party of Polk County and both state parties to organize a statewide Iowa Caucus-related initiative for Iowa's youth. The details will be unveiled at the media conference. The initiative is connected with Secretary Pate's "Caucus 101" curriculum that he unveiled last month.
