News conference at 11 am on Monday regarding Safe at Home program


You are invited to a news conference to discuss the launch of the Iowa Safe at Home program. Participants include Secretary of State Paul Pate, Lt. Governor Kim Reynolds, Rep. Dean Fisher and representatives from the Iowa Coalition Against Domestic Violence and Iowa Coalition Against Sexual Assault.

WHAT: Safe at Home is an address confidentiality program for victims of domestic violence, sexual abuse, trafficking, stalking and other violent crimes. Monday's news conference will outline how survivors can now enroll in Safe at Home.

WHERE: Secretary of State Paul Pate's State Capitol Office, Rm. 105

WHEN: Monday, December 21, 11 am

WHY: The Safe at Home program is a public service offered by the State of Iowa. We are respectfully asking for the media's assistance in spreading the word about it so that potential participants are aware of the program and so that government entities know their responsibilities related to it.
