Service - Participation - Integrity
The Office of the Iowa Secretary of State is guided by these three principals that we strive to incorporate in all we do. From educators engaging their students, to honoring Veterans for fighting for the right to vote, we see Iowan taking part in engaging their communities and are honored to recognize their efforts.
Ensuring Iowans feel safe is a large part of our mission. Our Safe at Home program provides address confidentiality for victims of domestic violence. Through our IBAT (Iowa Businesses Against Trafficking) program, we provide training materials through our Iowa to employers to help educate themselves and their staff on signs of human trafficking and what to do in the case where something may need to be reported.
