The Voter Engagement Summit is a statewide event designed to bring together student leaders, faculty, administrators, and campus organizations to strengthen and sustain voter engagement efforts on Iowa campuses. Participants will gain practical tools, insights, and connections to make civic participation a meaningful part of campus life.

April 9 and 10, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM (attendees may choose the day that works best for them).

Location TBA, Des Moines Central Area

Cost

Attendance is completely free. Participating schools may send as many representatives as desired, based on event capacity.

Who Can Attend
  • Students from any Iowa postsecondary institution
  • Faculty, administrators, and staff from Iowa colleges and universities
  • Campus organizations and student government representatives
What To Expect
  • Workshops and breakout sessions led by civic engagement experts and experienced campus practitioners
  • Networking opportunities to exchange ideas, share strategies, and learn from peer institutions
  • Interactive trainings on organizing registration drives, boosting voter turnout, and strengthening democratic participation among student voters
