Temporary Closure

COVID-19

Update

In order to reduce the risk to our customers and employees due to the recent outbreak of COVID-19, we are closing our lobby through the duration of the Governor’s emergency order, January 27th. Starting October 15, 2020, we are allowing customers who require apostilles processed by the office, may make an appointment for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings between 8:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Please note that due to COVID-19, we still have a limited number of personnel available. This appointment system is for currently available apostille customers only. We continue to routinely assess operations during the emergency, and adjust accordingly. The link to schedule an APOSTILLE appointment is here: https://calendly.com/iowasos/apostille

Phones

Due to this emergency, we have limited staff who can answer phones and process business services filings. We are working to revise our procedures to help alleviate these issues. However, we do expect delays in all paper filings to continue for the duration of the pandemic.

Filings submitted through FTF can be approved the same day if filed during regular business hours or 8:00 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. It is free to register and there are no additional fees when using FTF.
