Precinct and District Shapefiles

The following shapefiles are available:

  • Statewide precinct map
  • City precincts
  • County precincts
  • County supervisor districts

GIS (geographic information system) software must be used to open these files. Contact your county auditor to request precinct maps in other formats.


Information about these shapefiles:

The city and county precinct and district shapefiles are based on 2020 federal decennial Census Bureau boundary information and the city and county reprecincting plans approved by the Secretary of State's office. Most of these plans became effective March 15, 2022. Political subdivision boundaries may differ from those reflected here for a number of reasons. Check with the county auditor or city clerk for official precinct information.

The school district shapefiles are based on the 2020 federal decennial Census Bureau information and the school director district plans approved by the Secretary of State's office. Most of these plans became effective July 1, 2023. School district boundaries may differ from those reflected here for a number of reasons. Check with the school secretary for official director district information.
