2023-2024 Carrie Chapman Catt Award Results


For the 2023-2024 school year, 43 Iowa High Schools earned the Carrie Chapman Catt Award and 3 Iowa High Schools earned the Capitol Award. 126 Iowa High Schools signed up across 68 counties, and approximately 3,500 High School students registered in conjunction with the Carrie Chapman Catt Award initiative. “We are thrilled with the record number of schools being recognized this year and the thousands of young Iowans who have registered to vote as a result of the Carrie Chapman Catt Award program,” said Secretary Pate. “It is clear that Iowa students are highly engaged and interested in the elections process, and we look forward to seeing that reflected when they head to the polls once they are eligible.”
