Cedar Rapids Notary Training Session

The Office of the Iowa Secretary of State has been invited by Murdoch Funeral Home in Cedar Rapids to host a community event for notaries in the area; this will be a training session that will go over the basics, a few situations to avoid, and many of the most common questions asked.

The event is free, however there are only 100 available slots* per session to respect facility capacity.

If you would like to host an notary training at your location, please feel free to reach out to our office by emailing business.services@sos.iowa.gov and we will get ahold of you to help provide some information about our training!

*once 100 have been reached for a timeslot, we will turn off the option in the form.

2025 Biennial Report Due

Monday, March 31, 2025

All Day

The biennial report is due by 4:30PM CST for all active Limited Liability Companies, Limited Partnerships (Iowa Code 488), and Nonprofit Corporations registered with our office. If the report is not filed by 4:30 PM, your entity will be marked as delinquent.

YOU WILL NOT BE DISSOLVED AT THIS TIME. Being marked as delinquent will restrict you from obtaining a Certificate of Good Standing until you are up to date, but your entity is not dissolved at this time. Please contact our office with any questions.
