Filing Periods
The filing periods for the November 3, 2026, General Election are:
- U.S. Senate, U.S. Rep and State Office: July 27 – August 22, 2026 (5:00 p.m.)
- Partisan County and Township Offices: August 3 – August 26, 2026 (5:00 p.m.)
- County Ag. Extension, Soil and Water, and Hospital Trustees: By August 26, 2026 (5:00 p.m.)

- Nomination Petition for Partisan Offices
- Convention Nomination Certificate for Political Parties
- Convention Nomination Certificate for Non-Party Political Organizations
Candidates who were nominated in the Primary Election are automatically placed on the General Election ballot and do not need to file again.
