Secretary Pate, County Auditors to conduct "Voter Ready" roundtables in Union, Page, Ringgold counties on Thursday
DES MOINES – Iowa Secretary of State Paul Pate will partner with county auditors to conduct "Voter Ready" roundtable discussions in three southwest Iowa counties on Thursday, February 1. "Voter Ready" is Secretary Pate's initiative to inform Iowans about election law changes in effect in 2018, such as Voter ID.
The roundtable discussions are designed to establish partnerships with local groups and organizations, including media outlets, to share the facts about Voter ID, so that all Iowans are #VoterReady when they cast their ballots in 2018.
Media members are welcome to participate in the roundtable discussions.
