Secretary Pate, County Auditors to conduct "Voter Ready" roundtables in Wapello, Mahaska counties on Friday


DES MOINES – Iowa Secretary of State Paul Pate will partner with county auditors to conduct "Voter Ready" roundtable discussions in two counties on Friday, February 23. "Voter Ready" is Secretary Pate's initiative to inform Iowans about election law changes in effect in 2018, such as Voter ID.

The roundtable discussions are designed to establish partnerships with local groups and organizations, including media outlets, to share the facts about the election law changes so that all Iowans are #VoterReady when they cast their ballots in 2018.

Members of the media are welcome to participate in the roundtable discussion.

The two events are as follows:
